John,
Your photos are superb, they really capture the essence of Tasmania.
John, do you have any photos of "Tin Kettle Island"?
Years ago, my family and I spent 2 very incredable weeks on Tin Kettle, something my kids have never forgotten.

Hello John,
I am so inspired by your photography. I love birds and I do creations with birds, nests, flowers and driftwood, though I haven't found any one who makes Australian birds . Of course I don't use real nests or birds etc. My name is Robin and of course my favourites are the robins and my family are always sending me cards with the robins on them. Your Flame Robin is gorgeous. I have several of your cards which I picked up when of course I was getting a few natives from the Red Breast Nursery at Margate. I know now what I can do for gifts for my family who live in NSW. so many thanks for your beautiful works. they are second to none. Will be in touch for orders a little later. I could not leave your site without checking it all out.. thank you for showing the world beautiful Tassie in her most precious and wonderful Fauna and Wildlife........Robin...

Cards for all occasions are hard to find and after exhausting my cache of the Late Peter Dombrovskis' cards I was thrilled to find John Redeker's work on line. The cards arrived promptly in perfect condition and the payment process was painless. John's choice of photographs, artistic flair and presentation are first class and we are proud to send them to all. Kindest regards

Hi John & Judy
We just wanted to say thank you both for your kindness to us & also for my visit with Deborah. We had a lovely time catching up & also looking at the gallery with so many beautiful pictures that it was hard to choose. After finally making a decision with both pictures & cards we all went home very happy with our purchases which were so reasonably priced. They look lovely on our walls & we thank you both for your love of Tasmania & the time you both spend looking & photographing our beautiful state. Kind regards Max, Jenny & Deborah

hi guys, great to see you and your lovely cards out this way again[,huonville market].
some great bird studies....more useful for identification than my bird book!
i also enjoyed your sheds, cottages etc and old farming machinery series.
it is important someone is making a record of these things before they disappear.
i particularly like the fact you include more information, than just a title, about your subjects both on the cards and website.
best wishes henrietta
ps i couldn't find a link to costings etc for having cards printed from your own images?

Hi Henrietta, Thx for you comments - much appreciated. Re: me SETTING UP and PRINTING cards for you from YOUR OWN PICS - very happy to do that, and STILL only $1.80 per card if you order order a minimum of SIX cards of EACH pic I set up for you as a card. SO: if you want three photos done as YOUR CARDS? then pls order six of EACH of those three, to have all those cards at just $1.80 each - no postage charged! If you then come back another time for MORE OF THOSE same cards, they'll be the price I charge for my own cards - $1.80 for the first ten, then any more after that, just $1.50 each. Hope that's all clear - if not, pls phone!
Cheers,
John

Hi John, We met yesterday at Little Swanport. Came looking for the bridge shot. I haven't found it yet but you have some lovely photos on here. Well done. Love your work. The watercolour photos look great too. I though my Mum had painted them. Looks like the style and subject of what she does. Cheers Gary.

Hi John
You've shot some beautiful images. Do you have a shopfront or are your sales purely online? I went looking for the SS Laura once but couldn't find a way to it. I think I took the wrong turn (Martins Road). What's the best way to reach it please?

Hi Melanie,
You took the right road - Martins Road, get onto (rocky) beach at low tide and walk north until you round the corner - Laura will be right in front of you!
Thx for your comments on the blog - we do have some outlets for our stuff - but you're best to come to our gallery at Oyster Cove sometime. Just ph us on (xxxxxxxx), and we'll make a time to suit you!
(Much cheaper to buy from us direct, anyway!)

Hi John. My family in Tasmania often sends me your cards which I love and frame. The latest is the pioneer cottage at Dover. Could you possibly email me to tell me where it was located please? I'm positive I know this cottage. BTW - your home page is difficult to read; the yellow on white hardly show up. KP

John met you at Bundeela campsite then again at Kangaroo Valley markets. I have just looked through your web site and love your work, the birds are inspiring, I am a photographer myself and doubt I would ever be lucky enough to find the birds you have and photograph them so well. Like your other cards too.
Think they will be lovely in small frames as a set, the price is so good. So glad we met you, my friends will benefit from your talent.
Regards liz and John.

Thank you so much for your kind comments all the way from the UK, Eileen! I'm so pleased you've had positive comments from recipients, too. Next Christmas is a LONG way off - so if you'd like cards mailed to you, just tell me which you'd like. If you DO order any, I'll offer to pay for HALF the postage costs, if that's an encouragement! PayPal would be the only way to pay - makes things simpler at both ends. ;-) Best wishes,
John

Hi John, I received a very familiar card no 136 as a Christmas card 2016. Indeed I worked on the Kingsholme property for 5 years with both Kilns some time ago. But on the back of the card, it mentions that this smaller kiln was destroyed by the fire in 2010. But it was the larger one that actually was burnt down. Just thought you should know this as the smaller kiln is shown on your card. I do greatly admire this watercolour along with the rest of the photos on your website today.
All the best M

Hi M, Thank you for taking the time to point that out to me. I'm always happy to receive comments - and I'm happy too to be able to tell you that lately I've been printing: "Kingsholme Oast House etc - saved from the fire that destroyed its neighbour in February 2010."
You're right on the ball, M! Thx again. Hope you've enjoyed viewing my website - please pass it on to friends.
